September 25th (Tues)

After signing the contract 3 months before on September 25th we paid up and received the keys to the property….well actually about 30 keys in various states of decay in an old cardboard box.

Which one is for the front door we mused? The owner didn’t know either saying they never locked it, ho hum country ways. Fine except somebody HAD locked it on departure since the door was most definitely locked when we arrived with the estate agent after completion.

A fun 15 minutes ensued as me and the estate agent tried a variety of keys in a variety of doors and came to the same conclusion that most of the keys had nothing to do with this building. We did find the front door key however. Small steps.
