A long stream of books which I ordered on line have been coming in dribs and drabs since my birthday.
I often rely on the internet to gleen the often bizarre information I need, such as how much pasture does a fully grown sow require, or how to to build duck-proof fencing.
A book, however, has a certain power, even a bad one, to make me feel like I’m really getting on with something ! I feel so much closer to pig ownership now I have ‘Sucessful
Pig Raising’ in my hands !

The books I’ve received and are slowly ploughing through look like a literary mille fiori
of my intentions for the farm when placed end to end:
