Landed in Japan

……and so let’s begin.

On September 25th 2007 we became the owners of a farmhouse in rural Japan with a hodge podge crescent of fields, a plantation and rice field around it.

After over a year of house-searching and countless set backs at every turn all those sentences we uttered starting with ‘Well if we get a place…’ have become whens and hows.

This blog will be the story of how completely out of our depth, with very little experience we try and make a small farm in Japan.
